Legend once said that when a person dies, they pass through a world of the dead before facing their judgement whether they’ll end up in heaven or hell for eternity.

This world is known as Amenthes. Guarded by the deities of that world, the Korvi or what some call as demons or beasts that guard the afterlife. One by one a soul of the living would would fall down to the land of the dead.

Each soul is taken to a sanctuary guarded by the deities where everything is an exact mimic of earth itself, a fake paradise, before they are to be taken out to judgement and learn the horrible truth of the world they are in.


Summary


As you can see this is pretty much very inspired by Egyptian gods and legends yass

Korvi (plural for Korvas) are beings, (also called as deities to some) that keep the dead away from the living. They guard the world of Amenthes and possess powers of poison manipulation. 


Anatomy

General information
- Korvi anatomy are similar to a human beings, their height can vary from 120cm to 250cm.
They may live up to 1,000,000 years old. 1 year in the afterlife is equivalent to 6 years on earth


All Korvi will always have ATLEAST one corrupted eye on either side. The corrupted eye allows them to see how much time a person has left before their time of judgement. these eyes are also placed on both their hands

Ears can vary in size and direction. but all their ears are straight, no curves like normal cat or dog ears
Korvi can also have halos around their ears, but usually only the higher class Korvi have them.

Hands and feet
Korvi posses hands and feet similar to humans but usually longer and slimmer fingers, some may have claw like hands and 
a more beast like clawed feet but most in general are very similar to humans'
On ultimately rare occasions some could have paws

The tails of the Korvas are commonly made from fabric like material, but in rare occasions, some may have tails made from elements of the 
Egyptian gods that the Korvas resembles or represents

Tails can turn into snakes to help stabilize their poison while using it. The snakes have a mind of its own, some are more obedient to their host than others
(so yes they can basically have an argument with their own tails...)


Additional 


Korvi do fall in love (they have hearts) If a korvi falls in love with any being outside of Amenthes, their existence would be forever erased from the land of the dead if they aren't able to “un-fall in love” within 6 days.

For instance: If a Korvi falls for a human they’ll have to live in the land of the living for the rest of eternity. Same goes to if they fall for a demon, angel, etc..


INFO REGARDING NSFW CONTENT-

Korvi do have “heats” 2-4 times a year (Amenthes time) that last on approximately a week long to 11 days. It is not a necessity for korvis to have sexual intimacy but is appreciated due to well… you know. Heats arent season based and some could get it more often than others.

Fertility rates of Korvi are extremely low so the possibility of a female Korvi bearing a child is usually very low, therefore most Korvi are actually born from ashes and every ten souls of those who die a second death in the afterlife.

Halflings are considered uncommon since they created by two species. A Korvi could have sexual intimacy with any other species although since fertility rate is low for the Korvi, the chance of bearing a child with a foreign species is quite rare.

DIET  - A Korvas eats anything and everything. O-o no but seriously their diet is very all over the place. Especially spices , very delish


Clothing


Most Korvi wear little to no clothes, but really their fashion style all depends on them since there are also occupations in Amenthes.
The clothing of a Korvas mainly depends on the area they are living in, the Korvi living in the cold zone of the outer gate will have more warm and more layers of clothing. Some of these Korvi also have fur grown on their body as they have adapted to their environment

World


Ruled by Anubis (sortof) , Korvi live in a world known as “Amenthes” or also called the land of the dead or the afterlife. It is located above the underworld but under the land of the living

Amenthes Is separated into 2 main areas:

  1. The inner gate - where the dead live

  2. The outer gate - where the korvi live

The two areas are separated by large gates that aren't seen from the inside but can be seen from the outside.

The inner gate is basically a “fake paradise” where everything is exactly the same as the land of the living, it is guarded by the outer gate or the Apocalyptic version of earth (aka the “real” land of the dead) where the Korvi live

The outer gate has 3 seasons, fall, winter and spring. Fall last ⅔ of the time while winter would only last less than ⅓
Although most areas have a more warm to hot temperature, an area of the outer gate is always cold and mainly winter all year round

Night time is 13 hours long and although there is hardly any sunlight the temperature is still around 25- 30 degrees Celsius on average but can rise up to 40 or down to -10 (for a really short amount of time and on rare occasions except that one area)

PS:

  • Korvi can travel to any world or dimension in existence, but they do have to come back….

  • It's basically a literal apocalyptic earth

  • Yes racism does exist

  • Assholes are pretty much everywhere since their natural instinct is to not be so nice (They have trust issues because of humans they counter)

  • Jobs also exist
